It's gonna be a long 2 weeks....
So my stupid boss continues to bad mouth me to anyone who will listen. He's gotten to the point where he doesn't even care if I can hear him or not! I have half an inclination to just quit right now. I mean, what's the point of giving the professional courtesy of 2 weeks notice if I have to deal with an unprofessional asshole in the mean time? Ugh...
Last night was my "night off" of sorts. I got a lot of housework done. My mom is coming for a visit this weekend, and she's a neat freak, so I've got to make sure the house is spic and span before her arrival. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with her though. I don't see my mom nearly enough since she lives in Florida. I know my son will enjoy spending the time with his Grammy too. He gets excited every time you mention her name.
Tonight is fencing practice, followed by bill paying. Yay. Another exciting night at my house.

I'd contact your new company, say that the situation has changed slightly, and you would be available to begin working there a week ahead of time.

Agreed. You shouldn't put up with that crap. I understand not burning bridges, but if he's this way because you're quitting, is it really a reference you want?
