Jobless

I hate Murphy's law.

I finally find an awesome job that I love. It came complete with a higher salary, shorter commute, and fantastic boss. It looks like I won't have it anymore within about a month. Here's the short version:

The president of the American division of my company announced his retirement in July, effective December 31st. The corporate headquarters (in Manila) has had all this time to figure out what to do. Enter RS. He's compeletely inept at doing anything, but he's a good buddy of the CEO in Manila. Great. Normal companiess fire those who are inept at doing their job. This guy gets promoted! Anyway, my boss absolutely loathes this guy, and decides she'd rather quit than work for him. Great. Same guy has been pushing to move the Charlotte office to Minnesota! Long story short - If I actually get to keep my job, it's likely that they will want me to move to Minnesota. This is not an option.

The bright side? If I get to keep my job, AND I don't have to move to Minnesota, they'll probably promote me to my bosses position. Then I'd have to report to idiot boy. Yay. Happy New Year everyone.
