Another long week....

So I haven't had much time to blog this week. My mom came into town on Saturday, and I've been hanging out with her during most of my down time. I fenced at the Touche tournament on Sunday, and actually did pretty well. I felt like I actually fenced epee as well as I can. I certainly didn't win, but I fenced well for me....that's about all I can ask for.

Monday, I worked all day while my mom watched my son. I picked up some awesome Chinese take-out on my way home from work. We ate that, put the kid to bed, and watched "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason". It was pretty good, but not as good as the first one, which was not as good as the book. Ugh sequels.

Tuesday night we went out to Wal-mart and I found some super cute shoes. Yay shoes! Then we came home, put the kid to bed yet again, and I drank myself silly on Pinot Grigio. My mom is the best to drink wine and get silly with. We always have fun when we drink together.

Tonight, we've just been chatting, as I have to take her to the airport in the morning :(

This weekend looks pretty uneventful. I'll be working my last day at my current job on Friday, fencing at a home tournament on Saturday, and probably family time on Sunday. New job on Monday. Yay!!!!
