I survived the first week...

....at least I think I did. Today isn't over yet. I actually think I'm really going to like this job. It's incredibly interesting, and incorporates enough stuff that's new for me that I feel challenged, but enough stuff I know how to do already, so I'm not overwhelmed. I spend a lot of time coordinating people coming and going for new job placements or meeting, temporary housing, rental cars, airlines, etc. I like it.

Nothing really new in my life though.....other than the job that is. We are taking a family trip to Florida this weekend which I'll be glad for. Trip to the beach and the nature park place with Brandon, and of course plenty of time for getting drunk and silly with my mom. (It seems to have become a tradition for each time we get together.)

I'll also be meeting my Mother-In-Law for the first time. Pretty scary. I've talked to her on the phone, so she can't be all that bad, but I'm just a little nervous for meeting her after 4 years of marriage! I mean, what if she absolutely hates me? It's not like we can get un-married. I'm sure she won't influence my husband to hate me or anything, it's just that everything is easier when your Mother-In-Law likes you. Right? I've kind of grown comfortable not having one, and that's all about to change. Here goes nothing.....
